Problems at Auburn

Going into the game at Ole Miss. Tommy Tubberville himself said "We have not played a good football game all year." Injuries taking a major toll and have got alot of young guys on the field having to step up and be play makers. But the good news for Auburn is alot of those guys will be back and be experienced next year, and hopefully be playing well by the end of the season!

A interesting fact about Auburn's season is that they have led all 8 games at halftime.. Until today. So there is no doubt that the Tigers can play ball when they want too. It has been the lack of a solid coaching staff that has been the major downfall this season. The installment of the spread, then trying to go back to playing power football. Then trying to mix it in. One thing has been clear is that there has been no consistency at all on the offensive side of the ball this year. However the readjusted offense won't have to do a whole lot. If the defense can continue to hold teams to small numbers.

But for them to win Cody Burns has to calm down and make good throws. 82 yards on the ground is nice to have out of your quarter back. But, Burns must learn to manage the game with short throws that will open up defenses and give him more options. Only throwing 43 percent of his passes for receptions is not gonna be enough to lift up this football team.

There aren't many bright spots from Auburn this year. But they have led all 8 games at halftime. (Until Ole Miss.) And lets not forget this team has been too 8 straight bowl games. Now my personal favorite is the 6 straight wins Tommy Tubberville has over Alabama! Which this season will open a door for another set of Tigers to get back in the SEC title game! So get it together Tubberville and GEAUX TIGERS!!!
